Zaha Hadid Foundation partnered with Drawing Matter to host the Architecture Summer School, a free programme for thirty students (16+) with an interest in the built environment. The 2026 edition took place at Bowling Green Lane this August.
The programme continues the Foundation’s support for emerging voices and hands-on architectural education, following previous editions hosted at Bowling Green Lane.
Now in its tenth year, the Summer School offers a week of making, looking, drawing and conversation. Thirty students work closely with six early-career architectural tutors, exploring how to record and interpret architecture through drawing, mapping and making. For the tutors, many teaching for the first time, it is also a chance to develop practical teaching experience.
Keep an eye on the Zaha Hadid Foundation and Drawing Matter channels for further updates, student work and announcements about future editions.
